Carrara Studio 2 is a 3D graphics application that features tools for
modeling, animation, rendering, and special effects, allowing you to create
projects for the web, video, or for print. In this tutorial, Doug Sahlin
will guide you with this easy to follow training course of Carrara to
create 3D scenes and objects, using the Spline, Vertex, and Metaball modelers,
creating texture, rendering finished scenes, and creating and rendering
animations. He begins with an introduction to the interface and the rooms
of Carrara and with advice on how to plan your project. Once you are able
to navigate the workspace and create objects, you will learn how to use
the cameras and lighting. Learn how to create intricate shapes, texturing
your models, shading, animation techniques, animation with bones, rendering
and exporting animations. You will even learn to use Carrara with other
software such as Photoshop, Flash and Painter . Additional packages are
not necessary to create professional 3D for the Web, Print or output to
Video. Program features include: 5 different rendering engines, 7 different
grahpic modelers, multiple animation tools, advanced fast rendering shader
editor, special effects, sky environments, land and water environments,
and 1000 + 3D models and textures.
This training course is designed for fast learning and covers all the
fundamental points of the application, all cds work on a mac or pc and
no application is needed.
